Rockstar confirmed PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in December 2023 and has not mentioned PC since. Two delays later, pre-orders opened on 24 June 2026 for the same two consoles.

History says PC players wait. The early GTA games reached PC seven to eight months after consoles. GTA V took nineteen. Red Dead Redemption 2 took thirteen.

A newer report says sooner. GamesBeat, citing four anonymous industry sources, says PC is planned for the first quarter of 2027. Rockstar has not commented, and this paper prints it as a report.

When the news does come, it may come fast. Red Dead Redemption 2's PC version was announced on 4 October 2019 and released on 5 November, with a pre-purchase bonus that lasted about two weeks.
